Tamar Hela is an editor, writer, and teacher from California who currently lives and works in China. From the age of ten, many of her teachers encouraged her to pursue a career in writing fiction. Always having a knack for words, she loves the art of storytelling and creating new worlds for readers. When she's not writing, drinking coffee, or traveling to someplace cool, she can be found curled up with a good book (of course). Tamar is the author of the Spirit Lake Series, previously published by Cosby Media Productions. She also has a poem titled "Hope," published, which is in the anthology Live Life: The Daydreamer's Journal. The Teen Reader's Journal is her third book and first work of non-fiction. Formerly the Publishing Director and Chief Editor for the Print Division at Cosby Media Productions, Tamar has worked with many Amazon best-selling authors. As of 2018, she has edited over 40 books in her publishing career. Daydreaming and the love of literature are what prompted Tamar to start writing, and she encourages those around her to dream big, all the time. She's also recently launched her own publishing firm: H.E.L.A. Publishing + Media, which provides publishing, editing, and writing services for authors and international businesses.
