Sherri Connell was a singer, dancer, actress, model and accounting manager. She has a BA in Human Resources, a BA in Business Management and a Minor in Liberal Arts. At the age of 27, Sherri was planning out her Master's when she lost it all due to Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, Late-Chronic Lyme Disease and Traumatic Brain Injury. She went from an extremely goal-oriented workaholic to being unable to care for her daily needs; she struggles to get a meal, take a shower or go to a doctor appointment. Sherri studied art and photography in high school and college. She has had several ideas for story lines for children's books, but has been unable to write and illustrate them. Sherri also has severe cognitive impairments and brain damage that makes every thought difficult to organize in her mind and put down on paper. As a result, what might normally take a person a few weeks, would take her several years. Sherri's husband, Wayne, got her an electronic drawing tablet; this allows her to use photos she takes around the house and stock photos to crop and draw over with chalk and colored pencil. This hobby is very important and therapeutic for her life and overall well-being. Wayne has made this book available in print to give her a sense of accomplishment and joy in sharing her babies, as well as support great organizations. See less
