Ritchie Wood

Ritchie Wood is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the metal mining industry in Africa and Malaysia, and has spent over 40 years working overseas. He retired some years ago and completed a doctorate at Swansea University which dealt specifically with the Welsh miners' involvement in the Tunnelling Companies of the Royal Engineers. Much of this research has recently been published. He is a joint author, with John Dixon, of a paper on the mining operations at Gallipoli.
