Lao Tzu

Lao Tzu, or Laozi, is an honorific title meaning 'Old Master', and it is unlikely that the Tao Te Ching or Daodejing was written by one person, but if he did exist, his name was Li Er. Traditionally written in the sixth century BCE, there are a number of ancient text sources that have been used to compile this version.

Lao Tzu

The following is a personality profile of Lao Tzu based on his work.

Lao Tzu is confident and informal.

He is unstructured, he does not make a lot of time for organization in his daily life. He is calm under pressure as well: he handles unexpected events calmly and effectively. But, Lao Tzu is also assertive: he tends to speak up and take charge of situations, and he is comfortable leading groups.

More than most people, his choices are driven by a desire for prestige.
