Mugo Gachuhi

Mugo Gachuhi holds a PhD in Sociology and Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He served as the first Kenyan African Director of the Institute for Development Studies at the University of Nairobi. During the years he served with UNESCO, he helped to establish the National Council for Population and Development for the Kenya Government. He retired as a Professor of Sociology and Education from Kenyatta University having established the first degree course in gerontology.
