George Galloway
George Galloway won the Bethnal Green parliamentary seat in May 2005 for the Respect Party, the party he founded after being expelled from the Labor Party for his vocal opposition to the invasion of Iraq. He previously served as Senior Vice Chairman of the Labor party's Foreign Affairs Committee for fourteen of the fifteen years he sat as a Labor member of parliament. He is Vice-President of the Stop the War Coalition UK.
