Connie Bergstein Dow
Connie Bergstein Dow grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She began dancing when she was four years old, and has been dancing ever since. After attending Denison University, and earning her MFA from the University of Michigan, she danced professionally in the US, Venezuela, and Guatemala. (Free Spirit Publishing, 2019), and Tap and Rap, Move and Groove (Free Spirit Publishing, 2023), she has written two books for teachers, both published by Redleaf Press: Dance, Turn, Hop, Learn!, and One, Two, What Can I Do? Dance and Music for the Whole Day. She also writes articles for magazines and journals, and verses for Highlights and Cricket magazines. Connie enjoys presenting movement workshops at early childhood conferences, and connecting with young readers at book festivals and libraries. See less
