Carol Meredith has been a cellist, file clerk, mother, mathematician, volunteer story-reader, bed and breakfast manager, teacher, computer consultant, cook, stepmother and adopted grandmother as well as writer. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, jelly-making, swimming, reading, Tai Chi and travelling. Lorrie Szekat, a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, currently works as a freelance artist, writer and designer. She illustrated and designed "A Nineteenth-Century Algonquin Adventure" by James Dickson, and has had a wood-block print published in "Wildflower" magazine. She lives in Huntsville, Ontario. See less
