Carlos Liscano

Carlos Liscano resides in Montevideo, where he was born in 1949. Following his release from prison in 1985, he lived until 1996 in Sweden. The author of three novels as well as collections of short stories, poems, and dramatic monologues, he has been active in organizing a national group in Uruguay to support writers. A one-act play based on Truck of Fools was recently produced in Washington, D.C.
