Berkman, DSW, is the Helen Rehr/Ruth Fizdale Professor of Health and Mental Health at Columbia University School of Social Work (CUSSW) and Adjunct Professor, Department of Community and Preventive Medicine, Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
