Alibris Business Partnerships Set Record in 2009

Online marketplace for independent sellers of new and used books, music, and movies adds more new sales partnerships than in any previous year

EMERYVILLE, CA—January 26, 2010—Alibris announced today that 2009 was a banner year for the book, music, and movie marketplace, which established a record number of new business partnerships by the end of this year. Key to expanding its reach to buyers everywhere and growing sales for its independent sellers, Alibris's business partnerships are thriving.

The eight new business partnerships launched by Alibris in 2009 bring the total partner count to 16 and confirm its place as the premier marketplace for sellers of new, used, and out-of-print books, music items, and movies, and the world's most advanced online media marketplace provider. With longtime partnerships with Barnes & Noble, Borders, Chapters Indigo, and many other brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce sites, and with ongoing successful efforts to establish new partnerships, Alibris strengthens its position as the marketplace for independent sellers who seek consistent sales growth.
