You can Write Your Family History by Sharon DeBartolo Carmack is an excellent book for adults who are thinking about or have started to write their family history.
The author breaks down the process into smaller, more reasonable steps to prevent the writing process from becoming overwhelming. The readers learn how to add more interest to the facts of the birth, marriage and death; to go beyond what is possible from a computer software book. She also lets the reader know how to keep the book factual, rather than historical fiction or to know that the reader chooses to write historical fiction.
This book has inspired me to try to write down my own family history. I recommend this book highly.
