This is a great book-a collection of stories that reads almost like a memoir-honest, sexy, vivid, and funny (in a bleak sort of way). Very original voice-driven stories that capture what it's like to be in your twenties. Many of the stories were short and carried a punch. The character goes West, moving from Philly to Montana, as he tries to figure out his heart. Interesting the way the twin themes of identity and sexuality were explored. Surprising too. I read the last story, "Tokyo," and immediately went back to the first, "Glasnost," to read it again.
