These two works are detailed travel journals, written during the author's long excursions through Wales, with one volume focussing on North Wales, and the other focussing on South Wales. Roscoe offers a unique view on Wales in the early nineteenth century in this work, as the landscape was changing with the end of the Industrial Revolution. Written by Thomas Roscoe, an English author and translator. His other works include 'Gonzalo, the Traitor', 'The King of the Peak', and 'Legends of Venice'. With engravings by William Radclyffe, David Cox, Edward Harding, Thomas Creswick, James Watson, George Cattermole. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart.
