The main aim of this study was to evaluate publications on antibiotic control in hospital pharmacies. Data was collected from the following scientific databases: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), National Library of Medicine (PUBMED), Virtual Health Library (BVS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO). The following descriptors were used (DECS/MESH): ANTIBIOTICS CONTROL, HOSPITALPHARMACY, BACTERIAL RESISTANCE in English, Portuguese and Spanish. This search used the papers on antibiotic control in hospital pharmacies that best suited the objective. Sixteen articles were found in the following scientific databases: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), National Library of Medicine (PUBMED), Virtual Health Library (BVS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (HEAVEN).
