The movie sticks to the formulas of its genre, and busy soundtrack composer Christopher Young doesn't seem to have seen any reason to do anything different with his score. His contemplative main theme, a delicate piano motif, is reminiscent of John Carpenter's music for Halloween, but his main influence, naturally, is Bernard Herrmann, particularly the score for Psycho.
