When I started reading this book it was as though I was walking in the author's shoes or she in mine. I felt as though I had helped her write it. It has been 5 years since my husband's brain injury from an accident. As I read the pages it took me right back to the day of our difficult journey began. It was unsettling but at the same time comforting to know that I was not alone in my journey, that others have gone through similar journies. This is a book that I will read more than once.
