Seller's Description:
Near Fine with No dust jacket as issued. A clean and pristine copy of this detailed history of floodwater control works in the Pittsburgh region, beginning with the historic St. Patrick's Day flood of 1936 and continuing through the next fifty years, during which time the Engineers were busy beavers indeed. The book is 249 pages long, with an index. The boards are very slightly warped, but not to any bothersome degree. There is one small stain at the top of the first page. Otherwise, the book is quite pristine, and full of personal accounts of lock and dam building.; Signed by Authors.
