"The White Bedouin" is well written fiction, dedicated to three men, one of whom is Hugh Nibley. For those of us who Bro. Nibley can confuse, this is a very pleasant way to understand the significance of his research and exploration. On the second reading, I checked all the references written in English, and was amazed at how many plain Biblical facts are usually overlooked. I gained even more love for the Book of Mormon, and also, a respect for the beauty and truly peaceful Muslim lives of the Bedouins, who do not make violent headlines. .The author has lived in Arabia for 16 years, so this absorbing tale is based on fact. I bought a second copy and am lending both of them to friends.
