While there are some good quotes and general information here, this book has apparently been discontinued due to unknown-at-the-time erroneous or incomplete information in the chapter regarding songs and symbols associated with the Underground Railroad. The 'drinking gourd' song and 'quilts-as-symbols' have largely been debunked in the form reported here, and there is a new UGRR book put out by the National Park Service which is more up to date.
