Skeleton in the Closet by Angie Fox
I said on the first book in the series, Southern Spirits, I don't usually like mystery type books. That was the exception.... this is the second exception.
I loved the story. The characters are wonderful, likeable and believable. In a way it's almost written like a YA books, where there's no real big over the top sex scenes, just some smooching here and there, just a nice little taste. And some will miss it, some won't ... one thing it allows you to get to know the characters better.
For those that read the Biker Chick Series, and read Southern Spirits, do you think it would be cool to get Lizzie's dog Pirate and Frankie the ghost together. I think it would be so fun.... They're both background characters that take over pieces of the story now and then.
If you liked Southern Spirits, you'll love this one. If you missed that you, you can pick up this book and be safe to start with this one and if you like it go back and catch the others in the series. At worse starting with Skeleton in the Closet you'll miss the background story between Verity and the gang. It won't hurt anything ... I like reading things from the beginning, but you can read this book without the others.
Can't wait for the next one.
