Boards bound in cloth (spine in rust-colored cloth with gilt lettering; beige sides). Interior clean and crisp. Dust jacket spine faded; has a few short closed tears to top edge; scuff to bottom fore-edge of front panel; in an archival sleeve. Illustrated with wood block prints. xii, 83 pp. 7 x 5 inches. Blackwell North America presentation copy for New Year's 1983, with presentation pages in Spanish and English. Laid-in: 1) A typed and hand-signed letter from Anaya on his letterhead to Jack Walsdorf of Blackwell North America.
