I read this book by Colleen and loved it as much as her others I have read. This series has a bit of suspense and it keeps you from wanting to put the book down. Where most of the time the books I read are pretty predictable this series is not so much. Yes you can figure out she is going to marry Will but all the other story lines are not predictable at all. I recommend it if you like a bit of romance interwoven with a mystery and reality. This book is a very good one in my opinion.

Good Mystery
The second of three books in the Mercy Falls series, this was a historical romance with a mystery. Pirates are stealing cargo and killing sailors. Katie is engaged to a man she does not love. Will, the new lighthouse keeper, helps her discover who killed her friend and how her father is involved. At one point, I thought I knew who the bad guy was, but it was a trick. Mrs. Coble writes enjoyable books with many plot twists.
