In this day and age of 'feel good' Christianity this is a sobering and much needed reminder that the gentle Jesus of the New Testament is the same God of judgement of the Old Testament. As His children, we do not need to be afraid of Him, but we had better understand He is the God of the universe, powerful and intelligent far beyond our comprehension and is to be respected and revered. He is no New Age sugar daddy.

I highly recommend this book. I found it so helpful and will pass it on to others. How important it is to be in awe of Our Lord and reverence His holiness and walk in obedience to Him.
