Dorothy Day & Peter Maurin founded the Catholic Worker Movement.
I greatly admire Dorothy Day and find it encouraging that saints walk among us.
This collection of Day's writings, as well as many bits of other authors culled from her volumes of personal notes, is a wonderful tool for meditation of bedside table.
It is a small book and shoves handily into a book-bag or purse - very totable.
St. Dorothy's clear vision of living the Gospel is well worth ANY Christian's time, but we Catholics are duty-bound to grow in Christ-likeness.
