This book, The Change in the Weather, brings a different side to global warming. In the beginning of the book, it talks about how the world did fluctuate between extremes in temperatures, and that it could have a relation to what?s happening now. This book allows you to think of global warming, and greenhouse gases in a different way. This book was chosen for a science project having to do with factors of scientific literacy. Though the project itself wasn?t hard, getting through the book was. For me, all the examples put into the book dragged it down, slowing down the progress of the book. Fewer examples might have helped the pace of the book, but then it might have affected the proof of each section. Personally, I thought the book was slow paced, but well written. I knew nothing of climatology coming into reading the book, but now, after reading, I understand more of what?s going on. This book helps with understanding our weather and what?s happening. All in all, it?s an adequate book.
