I bought this book thinking I could use it for class, but on the first day of class they let us know we needed the newer version. All of the homework problems were completely different, and chapter 8 was chapter 9 in the newer edition. I know it was my fault for buying the earlier edition (even though my syllabus did not say we needed the newer one) but it was a pain tracking down the actual homework I needed to do.
