Gray quarter cloth over cranberry boards, with gilt lettering embossed on spine and blind stamp of primitive hunting scene and author's initials on front board, textured endpapers, rough-cut pages, top of text block stained red, illustrated with 32 plates and 54 drawings in black and white, 437 pp. Through this exciting narrative of 50, 000 years of growth and evolution, we come to a fresh and fascinating view of what and why we are. Dust jacket slightly dog-eared at top of spine, one small (1/8" x 1/2") chip missing, one ¾" flat tear, two ¼" flat tears, spine slightly sunned, pages slightly tanned, text block clean, sharp and appears gently read.
