They have been examined and verified in the Bureau of Motor Carriers and the corrected reports form the basis or the present tabulation. The unusual delay in publication is the result partly or the extensive correspondence required in correcting the returne and partly or the preeeure or other work given precedence in the Bureau of Statistics.
