It has wear about the edges and about the spine seams. The covers have handling marks. The back cover has the remains of a retailer sticker. The spine has a pronounced crease along its length. The paper trim edges are much marked from handling and usage. There is a lengthy gift inscription (not from the author) on the frontispage. A previous owner has made an attempt to repair a deep split along the spine seam at page 123. All pages, however, are complete and wholesome. Pages 43, 44, 45 have smears and marks that do not interrupt the enjoyment of those pages. The contents are bright and complete and very readable. fk.
