Some of the songs have a lot of history behind them -- "Captain Campbell," for example, dates back to 1789. But many of the songs were composed by Battlefield Band members Alan Reid (vocals, keyboards), Alistair Russell (vocals, guitar), John McCusker (fiddle, whistle) or Ian MacDonald (bagpipes, flute, whistle).
