Southwest at War?
This book presents invaluable information and observational data from previous Southwestern archaeological investigations, and does so in a fashion -- site-by-site, cluster-by-cluster -- that is the best way to do it. The data can be disturbing: there was a lot more conflict in these civilizations than previously assumed. What does it mean? Why did we not have access to this information before? The author does not provide answers for you, but he does a great service by simply telling us what was found, in detail, at great length, and with reliable documentation.
