This attribute enables the localized wave behavior on a subwavelength scale, not only inside lensesandinthenear?eldoutsideofthem,butalsoinprincipleinthefar?eld of them, to have ?eld reconstruction and localized enhancement, something not readily found in ordinary matter, referred to as positive index materials.
