Excellent Series
The LOOK SERIES, by Ms. Miller, though not as good as her SPRINGWATER SERIES, keeps you enthralled from Volume 1 through Volume 3.

book 2
This book does justice flowing straight out from the first and flows nicely and is set up to allow one to know there will be a third. In this second installment, Clare takes her inheritance from the first book and opens her own pro bono practice - leaving the first book behind. She is a murder and danger magnet in this book also and manages to get shot at within the first 100 pages. Again, Tony to the rescue. He is her on-off again copper dude from all three in the series. Still, that is not what the books are about. The romance finalizes and comes more to the fore in the final book, but it is really just a back plot here and in the first book. The twists in this book are as interesting and good as in the first and also the third. Bodies keep turning up around Clare, she continually challenges her cop to place them both in danger to the point of nearly costing one of them their life (within inches - read to find out who). All the characters are strong standing alone or as part of the plot (Emma, Loretta, Tony, etc.). This book is written with skill and you will likely be surprised even near the end with some of the twists. You will think it is one person near the beginning, to think it is someone else later, only to find out you were right - but for the wrong reasons. Really good - just like the first and the third. Likely you will want to read all again even knowing how they end.
