"Corrente" is a very interesting semiological experience, where each sequence of verses can be followed with no specific order. "A Noiva da Cidade," a lyrical and tender samba-canção, was taken from Alex Vianni's same-named film. From the same film is the ecological "Passaredo," while the dramatic "Basta Um Dia" is from the play Gota D'água, by Chico Buarque/Paulo Pontes.
