My first impression of this book is "Wow." It is constructed of thick pages that will withstand many years of referencing the information inside. The introduction explains the author's background as well as provides a brief history of the cards and games. The book is color-coded for each set/kind of game cards and is bright and contains attractive photos of the cards. The detailed pricing charts are amazing themselves. The book explains how cards are prices based on condition and explains what makes a card "mint" and more. The author even provides his email and website and invites readers who want additional information/have questions to contact him and promises to return their inquiries. this alone makes the price of the book worth it. Overall, this book is comprehensive, beautiful, and will provide card collectors with valuable information about their collection and what price to pay/sell for their cards.
