Over the past few years, the prominence of statutory regulation and Charter-based jurisprudence has increased across the spectrum of worker-employer and union-employer relations, and so have the consequences of economic globalization. Many of the changes to the seventh edition are designed to help students assess both the current and longer-term importance of these trends. While the seventh edition of Labour and Employment Law: Cases, Materials, and Commentary has retained the organizational structure of the previous edition, much of the material has been extensively reworked.
