I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to do serious Bible study. In one easy-to-read book McDowell explains how to do inductiive Bible study, letting the text speak for itself. If you are ready to move from milk to meat, then this is the book for you. McDowell explains each step clearly and has plenty of illustrations. There is a good section on applying what you have learned. I have used its method in my own personal study and also as the basis for teaching Bible studies. One participant came up to me in tears and said, "I have been in church my whole life and no one has ever taught me to study the Bible before. Thank you." Are you ready to have your life changed by Bible study? Then read this book.
