When I ordered this book I expected it to be with in-text in-chapter subject headings. The old prints of this ISBN by Thomas Nelson Publishings did not have these passage headings. They have inserted them in the new print since last year. The one I obtained from the Bible Store belonged to the stock from a few years ago and did not have them.

Gift and Award Bible -NKJV
This is an ideal book to have for a first Bible for a young person who just is beginning to read the Bible, or would like a Bible with more modern language than the KJV. I was wanting one for another version for study and it fills this need in a great way, too.
I would suggest this as a good second Bible for those who get involved in serious Bible study.

I was pleased the translation had not been changed so much as to have changed the actual meaning of the scriptures.
