I ordered this magazine to help me work on my Ford Ranger. I'm not very good at this kind of work and I know I need good guidance. The first project was to replace a side light (right next to the front headlight) which was burnt out. I looked over the diagram and compared it to my Ranger and there was no relationship. After trying a few alternative ways to get the side light out, I gave up. I went to a quick lube place where they replaced the light and the screws they took out to replace it were nowhere near the pictures in the book's diagram. My second project happened the same way so I would not recommend this book unless your are a veteran mechanic who knows this stuff and you don't need the diagrams. Maybe the charts and tips are better if your really know cars and are working on a big project.

Exactly what you need
It is what it says it is, a Haynes Repair Manual. Everything you need to know to strip your Ford Ranger or Mazda B-Series down to its individual nuts and bolts. Contains information on all models from 1993 to 2000, so includes specs on both carb and fuel injection vehicles, electronic ignition and distributor vehicles, and other similar engineering progressions. Can be somewhat technical, but does have pictures, so the best thing it does is help you decide whether or not the repair you're contemplating is something you can do yourself or if you should just pay somebody else to do it. Irreplaceable in helping me find a sneaky electrical problem.
Book came pre-smudged with oily fingerprints, which I find comforting.
