This was a great second chance romance! I loved Ezra and Magnolia. Watching them reunite after so many years was everything I love in this trope. The reason for their separation seventeen years ago eased any angst I might have had had it been due to a failure to communicate.
While this had some mysteries as to who was after Magnolia, there was so much more to it. The suspense was still there but the romance was stronger as were the close friendships. The ending was pure perfection and I found myself consuming this book in one great big gulp and then wanting to read it again, slower.
