Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Fisher has assembled a series of essays on the Island of Hokkaido, Japan and the city of Sapporo. The author was associated with the Franciscan Missionaries. The photos are an excellent visual account of Hokkaido and Sapporo after the war. "Last Bear Hunt", "Ainu Bear Festival" and "Hokkaido Bear Carvers" are among the chapters.
