Although it was written with humor and gave some interesting insight to the somewhat dirty and sometimes comical world of strippers and strip clubs, overall, the book was pretty boring. Very odd. An educated, successful woman with a good job and loving boyfriend just randomly decides to spend a year stripping for dirty old men in sleazy clubs until 3am? And even more strange, the title Candy Girl came from the boyfriend's daughter's nickname! A bit disturbing if you ask me. This book is nothing special and you probably won't ever think about it again once you're done reading it. Not worth the time.
